Climate Change summed up by Street Art Genius Blu
This is the best evidence that a picture is worth a thousand words. No amount of explaining could sum up the climate change threat better than this huge mural by street artist Blu in Berlin.

There are many myths surrounding climate change – it has been politicized because governments and corporations value short-term profits more than the lives of millions of poor people who will starve in droughts and famines, become sick due to water-borne diseases, lose their homes to flooding and then knock on the gates of Fortress Europe as poor and desperate climate refugees.
Even among those who “believe” in climate change and global warming (they’re scientific facts, not a matter of belief), there are many misconceptions. The most dangerous is the view that global warming is nothing but longer and hotter summers.
In fact, warming globally has a variety of effects locally. For example, rising temperatures cause more water to evaporate, which can lead to heavy rainfalls and massive floods. It also causes droughts and famines, dangerous health risks, destroys drinking water reserves and eco-systems and could lead to the extinction of many endangered species.
The most important part of Blu’s message in the mural above is that we are causing our own destruction and running out of time.
